Planning and Design of new Family Aquatic Center in association with Lose & Associates. Completion expected to be in the Fall of 2010.
Cape Girardeau, Missouri: (Master Plan Rendering)
Planning and Design of an Outdoor Family Aquatic Center, plus Osage Community Centre Renovations. Markey and Associates also previously provided the Master Plan in association with Horner and Shifron. Construction of the family aquatic center is expected to be about $5.2 million, and the Osage Center renovations, about $2.4 million. Soft opening expected to be in late Spring of 2010.

Planning, Design, and Project Administration by Markey and Associates for this Expansion to existing outdoor family aquatic center (listed below), also by Markey and Associates. This Expansion project is a Design-Build in association with Swim-Pro Pools. Scheduled to open Summer 2009.

Planning, Design, and Project Administration by Markey and Associates for a new Bathhouse for completion in 2009. We also designed the pool portion of this project to replace existing outdoor pool. Pool opened May 16, 2008.
Winder-Barrow Brad Akins YMCA, Georgia: (Master Plan Rendering)
Planning and Design of a new indoor pool and renovating portions of the existing building and site to change the overall physical image of the YMCA - by Markey and Associates in Association with Camp Architect. Construction cost is approximately $4,400,000.
City of Gastonia, North Carolina:
Planning and Design a new sprayground with a train theme, plus renovations to Lineberger Park. Construction cost estimated to be $230,000..
Thayer YMCA, Columbus, Georgia:
Planning and Design for a new indoor pool, in association with Andras Allen Starr Architecture. Pool is 4-lane, 25-yard pool, 2,325 sf. Construction Cost estimated to be $350,000. Project Completion scheduled for Fall of 2008.
